Willapa Bay Artist-in-Residence

For the month of August, I’m living at Willapa Bay AiR, an exquisite artists, writers, and composers residency in Oysterville, WA, on the Long Beach Peninsula. For most of the year, we poets bend our art to fit into the spaces around our life. For this month, however, my life bends to make the most room for the making of art. That reversal is a shocking delight.
