I’ll be reading from Other Romes at my MFA alma mater, the University of Michigan, on September 15, 2011. I’m happy to be joined by Jessmyn Ward, fellow Michigan grad and award winning novelist.
We’ll be holding a roundtable at 2pm and reading at 5:10 pm. Roundtable will be held in Angell Hall, Room 1176, also known as The Hopwood Room. Reading will be in Helmut Stern Auditorium.

Come visit my favorite city in the entire United States (Louisville, Kentucky!) for my reading at the University of Louisville, where I spent 2008 – 2010 as the Axton Fellow in Poetry.
I’ll be reading in the Axton Reading Series at 7:30 on Thursday, 10/27 (in the Bingham Poetry Room, Ekstrom Library) and hosting a workshop on Friday 10/28. The workshop, which is open to the public, will run from 10 AM till noon, in Bingham Humanities, Room 300.
I’ll be reading at the Stanford Bookstore on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 at 6:30 PM. The bookstore is in the heart of the Stanford campus.
